Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora
Your adventure begins with pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech.
Travel across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), enjoying breathtaking views of traditional Berber villages and dramatic mountain landscapes.
Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous fortified village and an important stop on ancient caravan routes.
After exploring the kasbah, continue through Ouarzazate, known as the Gateway to the Sahara, before traveling through the beautiful Draa Valley, Morocco’s largest palm oasis.
Arrive in Zagora, where you will spend the night.
